GRAY SIMPSON
Gray Simpson’s work centres on the figure, held within a structured composition where tension sits between control and instability. The body acts as both subject and framework, used to carry the painting rather than define it.
Paint is built slowly, allowing the image to emerge over time, with the figure present but never fully fixed.
