EARTH MATTERS

A quiet conversation between material, memory and form.

This exhibition brings together works that return to the ground, both literally and metaphorically. Pigment, texture and process are not just part of the outcome, they are the subject itself.

At its core is Michael Rainsford, whose practice draws directly from the landscape. Using earth-derived pigments, his works carry a physical connection to place. They feel unearthed rather than made.

Alongside this sits the sculptural presence of Will Nash. His work introduces structure and weight, offering a counterpoint that feels both grounded and quietly architectural.

Together, the exhibition explores lineage, material and time. Not as concepts to explain, but as things to feel. There is a sense of continuity running through it. A passing on of knowledge, of touch, of understanding.

Nothing is forced. Everything settles.

This is not about spectacle. It is about connection.
